In my practice, I enjoy helping families whose children are having difficulties in the schooling process. When a child is not doing well in school, there are a multitude of factors that may be getting in the way. I begin with an appropriate evaluation of the child and provide feedback to parents about what I believe is interfering with the child's ability to succeed. From there, I can provide individual intervention with the child and consultation with the parents. Also, it is often important to provide information to the school and have them assist in our plan.

I have experience working with clients of all ages (4+). I have provided individual and group psychotherapy for clients suffering from, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, addiction, stress, anger management, life stressors and transitions. It can be challenging to feel beaten down and struggle with scary, intrusive, and unwanted repetitive distressing thoughts. You may feel compelled to ask for repeated reassurance, perform behaviors multiple times or in a certain way, mentally review or check excessively, or even avoid people or situations you care about due to your fear and anxiety. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have experience working with individuals with behavioral disorders, mild depression, anxiety, and behavioral concerns, as well as with those looking for parenting skills and coping skills. It is my goal and responsibility to ensure and foster emotional and cognitive growth to clients and their families. Through a collaborative effort, we will work to explore and define present problems with client situations, develop future goals, personally and emotionally, and achieve success and personal fulfillment.

Seeking help can be an intimidating step to take, and finding the right therapist to trust with that vulnerability even more so. My hope is to create a space that leads my clients to feel comfortable and secure in taking these steps. My approach integrates trauma-informed therapies, laughter, and an abundance of compassion. My experience has led me to excel in working with adult clients who have histories of complex trauma, early attachment wounds, complex relationships to family of origin, and difficulties with self-acceptance. ​
