I am trained in several modalities that can assist individuals, families, and couples in moving toward their ideal situations in life. I specialize in recovering from toxic parenting, managing anxiety, and recovering from trauma. I believe that each person has everything in them that they need to succeed. As a BIPOC Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and specializing in trauma and attachment, my approach to treatment is rooted in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based practices.
I work with adolescents, couples, and young adults who are managing anxiety, depression, stress, infidelity, life transitions, and those seeking support for self-esteem issues, attachment issues, or trauma.
As a Therapist with a Satir perspective, influenced by the works of Bowlby and Adler, my communication style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I believe in creating a safe and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable expressing yourself and exploring your thoughts and feelings.
