I have worked with individuals struggling with a range of challenges, including chronic medical conditions; panic disorder; gender transitioning; and menopause, offering over a decade of experience in the mental health field as a child and family specialist, art therapist, and (since 2020) professional counselor. As a first gen Asian American and ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, I embrace, encourage, and invite people from all walks of life to seek support without fear or shame.
As a registered Art Therapist (ATR), I may weave expressive activities in and out of sessions knowing art can help with expressing what words can’t. Art in therapy creates a supportive space for deeper exploration, promoting insight, and in some cases, alchemizing anxious energy. Many clients are surprised what truths emerge in their art, in the process.
