I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor working with teens, adults, couples, and families. I appreciate that people are multifaceted, and offer a whole-person perspective of human development. I invite my clients to bring any and all struggles they are facing, whether they are situational, historical, cognitive, emotional, relational, or societal – and I meet my clients right where they are.
I approach therapy from a bio-psycho-social-spiritual model. I incorporate person-centered and existential therapy perspectives and cognitive behavioral therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). For relational work, I incorporate the Gottman method.
I encourage my clients to gain self-understanding while also offering practical steps to achieve their goals. I believe that everyone needs security, love, empathy, and understanding. I offer unconditional positive regard to those who work with me – inviting every individual to feel comfortable and accepted throughout the counseling process.
