My name is Kyrr Christoffersen; I am a Licensed Marriage Marriage and Family therapist. I have worked in the field of addiction collectively for over 7 years. I specialize in family dynamics and patterns to assist clients in recognizing of their behavioral patterns, beliefs, and resources that may be affecting their lives. I believe that my presence and style of therapy work best with young adults and individuals in transitionary phases of life. Often these individuals present with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and disordered eating.
With experience working with populations ranging from late adulthood to childhood, these issues can present throughout life, and together we can work through these challenges. My communication style is calm, open, and personable.
My approach the therapy tends to match that of the individual I am working with. My general therapeutic approaches align with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems, and Strength-based theories, which assist in motivating change through recognition of our patterns and instigating change together.
