Hello, my name is Kyra. I am licensed clinical social worker. I have been practicing therapy for 4 years, with 8 years of experience in mental health. I have experience in substance abuse, criminal justice systems, out of home placement/ CYFD, children with developmental delays, family therapy, and psychotic disorders. I specialize in trauma resulting from abuse/neglect. Kyra's Clinical Counseling Services is accepting new clients looking for support in any of these areas. I do not work with adults. My belief is that therapy is for you, not the clinician. I am here to guide you, but also support you in the things you want to work on. I am rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy because our thoughts are connected to our behaviors. I want to help children because they deserve a voice, and they are capable of making positive change.
