Your story matters, and as a therapist, it is a privilege to hold your story. My role is to create a safe space to explore your story, your relationships, your challenges; starting wherever you are! My approach to therapy focuses on building a relationship that is warm, authentic, and compassionate. I support adolescents and young adults experiencing life changes, grief and loss, or trauma. I specialize in working with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. My approach is integrative, trauma-formed, and client-centered.
I utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Narrative Therapy frameworks as well as skill-based therapies, such as CBT and DBT, I take a somatic approach in addressing trauma. I have worked in schools, so I am especially equipped in supporting adolescents and teens navigating life transitions. I am also fluent in Spanish and have spent time abroad.
I acknowledge the way systems often create significant obstacles to wellbeing, particularly for people with intersecting identities, and I believe it crucial to consider how clients exist within the many systems with which they interact and incorporate this into our work.
