I use a mind-body integrative approach to help you gain insight into how your mind, emotions, and body all play a part in your health and well-being. By helping you develop bodily awareness and somatic coping tools, I assist you to better navigate and manage difficult emotions, anxiety, depression and overwhelm. This approach combined with mindfully managing negative thoughts and unwanted behaviors, offers a well-balanced treatment of the whole person.
I earned my masters in somatic psychotherapy, a holistic mind-body therapy approach. In addition to Somatics, I use Internal Family Systems, Attachment-based, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, DBT, and Gestalt approaches to offer the most therapeutic benefits. I hold a compassionate and empathic space, but am not shy to challenge you when growth is needed.
My body-oriented style is tailored to treat trauma, which is stored in the body and when left untreated disrupts the ability to feel an inner sense of calm and peace. It is my passion to help you find calm and comfort so you can experience greater resilience to be with life's challenges. I also offer a touch therapy modality called NeuroAffective Touch.
