I will provide a safe and nurturing environment where individuals, couples and families can explore ways in which they are stuck and help them find a more fulfilling life. Whether I see an individual or an entire family, I use a relational, solution-focused and collaborative approach that respects and validates client strengths to find solutions. Being a Korean-American with first hand experience living in different countries, I bring a culturally-sensitive and non-judgmental approach to help clients increase insight, identify patterns that no longer are useful and develop a path forward that will bring more fulfillment.

My specialty is in working with couples and families in all phases of life although I also work with individuals with depression, anxiety, anger management challenges, emotion regulation difficulties or trauma. Many of my clients are bi-cultural and appreciate my sensitivity to a cultural view that is not mainstream.

My clients tell me that they appreciate how engaged and authentic I am with them in sessions. I understand that each person is unique in the way in which they interpret and experience the world. I honor and respect their point of view while seeking to introduce new and healthier ways of viewing, interpreting and therefore experiencing life.
