My name is Kynnedi Tripplett, LCSW. My therapeutic style is open-minded, empathetic, and laid back. I like to meet people where they are and help them to reach their personal goals in relationships, learn more about themselves, and step more into who they want to be. I have experience working with clients who are struggling with symptoms of anxiety, depression & life transitions. Most of my experience is with adolescents and young adults. I enjoy working with folks of diverse backgrounds like LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and families.
I like to create an environment for clients to feel heard and understood, first and foremost. I like to take time to build rapport with clients to determine what they need from a therapist. Some people prefer a challenge, while others need more grace. I am able to take on whatever tone feels most comfortable for you at that time in your life.
I became a therapist because I am passionate about self-improvement. I wanted to connect people to tools to overcome dysfunction and live more satisfying lives. My approach to therapy at this level of care is influenced heavily by CBT, DBT, and ACT modalities.
