I work with adults and will consider older adolescents (16+) who are seeking their own therapy to overcome personal obstacles for a whole, healthy, and balanced life. Acknowledging unique life circumstances and subjective therapy experiences, I'm dedicated to creating a collaborative environment to work through trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, disordered eating, PTSD, and parent/child relationships. I’m trained in EMDR as well as ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) to treat trauma and stuck emotions/images.
I am EMDR and ART trained, sandtray and play therapy certified, and interweave these with Attachment Therapy, IFS, DBT, and Person-Centered Therapy to create a space for the client to be able to show up and feel safe and held in their journey. I like to help clients build from their strengths and find how those can optimize their health goals.
I know how hard it is to reach out for help and to try to find someone you can trust to share difficult parts of yourself. I find that truly listening to what you have to say and holding space for you is what leads me to use whatever modality works best for you, rather than my agenda.
