I work with new moms and specialize in perinatal mental health. This covers everything from fertility challenges, to managing postpartum anxiety and depression, to feeling disconnected from a partner, after baby. In addition to my clinical work, I'm a mom of three, and I know what a difference it can make to have support in during pregnancy and postpartum. The phrase my clients say most frequently is, "this wasn't what I expected". I help moms sort through their emotions, values, and desires for this season of life, so they can feel like themselves again.
Many of my clients present to therapy in the same windows of time - immediately after birth, when they stop breastfeeding, when they return to work, or when they are pregnant again, hoping for a less anxious experience. These are seasons with big emotional and logistical challenges, and I'm honored to support my clients with time, tools, and space.
If you don't feel like yourself, or are exhausted from waiting for things to feel better, I'd recommend setting up a call. "Postpartum" can be anywhere from a few days after having a baby, to a few years after having your child. Wherever you find yourself in the motherhood journey, I'd love to chat and see if we are a good fit.
