About
Kyle T. Collins is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor focused on working with members of the LGBTQ+, polyamorous, kink, and BDSM communities. Kyle’s practice focuses on working with individuals, couples, and families on issues related to relationship difficulties and/or sexual difficulties, including issues related to trauma, anxiety, illness or disability, interpersonal boundaries, and many other stressors.
Kyle is currently completing his PhD in Social Work at the National Catholic School of Social Service; his research focuses on professional trauma and the experience of shared trauma in clinical practice. Kyle completed his Masters in Social Work in 2018 from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, focusing on behavioral health and integrated care.
Kyle founded HeartWerq in 2022 with the intention of creating a space for all persons to own their identities and work through the many obstacles that can come up in life. HeartWerq is a wholistic and sex positive practice, focusing on the individual and their environment, rather than a pathology-informed approach. Come see what HeartWerq is all about.
