Therapy is a place to confront difficult feelings, memories, and experiences, which occurred in the past and how they impact the present. Therapy provides a non-judgmental, curious space in which we can explore your feelings and thoughts in ways that are difficult to do in the fast-paced, 'outside' world.
I seek to create a space, with you, in which we can slow down, accept, and process events which might be weighing on you, and understand patterns in your life which could contribute to feeling stuck, sad, or anxious. These patterns are often helpful things learned from the past which worked in certain situations but perhaps don't work currently.
After understanding the origins and functions of these patterns, we can begin to explore what new ways of responding might look like. These could be patterns in work, romantic relationships, friendships, jobs, social activities, families, or life in general. I would welcome meeting with you and learning how I can help.
