My clients are often the most insightful people in their own lives — and the most exhausted by what that insight hasn't been able to fix. I'm Kyle, LCSW, working with teens, adults, and couples who feel emotionally overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected — quietly exhausted by the gap between how they appear and actually feel. They come in carrying anxiety, self-criticism, grief, or relational patterns they can name but can't seem to change. Together, we slow things down, get curious about what your emotions are trying to tell you, and work toward the kind of inner steadiness that makes the rest of life feel less effortful.
My approach is rooted in psychodynamic work and Emotionally Focused Therapy, with somatic practices, mindfulness, and DBT skills woven in as needed. We move at your pace. Some weeks look at how your story still lives in you, others building concrete tools for nervous system regulation. Sessions are collaborative, embodied, and grounded in real relationship.
If any of this is landing, you're probably already further along than you think. The work isn't to fix yourself — it's to stop fighting yourself long enough to actually listen to what's underneath.
