My ideal client is the working man or woman who is tired of balancing uncontrollable alcohol and substance use with the rest of life's demands. Individuals who want to keep the life they have built while learning new skills to improve their mental health and stay sober. I have been sober for ten years so I know what its like to struggle, but I also know what it takes to heal. Congrats on seeking therapy and know this is not going to be a small change. We will work together to address life from the ground up. Meaning we focus on developing new habits but we also address the core issues that cause the addiction in the first place.
I authored a book called " Riding the Pink Cloud" and the subtitle is how to survive and dare I say enjoy addiction treatment. My private clients are not in addiction treatment but, should know I have dedicated my life to guiding people in early sobriety. I want to offer compassion and empathy with the right amount of "tough love".
