At it's core, therapy is about transformation. Usually, the aim of changing our life requires confronting changing something about our self. Through the therapeutic relationship, I can help you to explore with curiosity how the problems of your present may have been useful solutions in the past. Through this process we can transform old, restrictive patterns and create space for new ways of being and experiencing.
As a psychotherapist and licensed clinical social worker located in Eugene, Oregon, I spent over 10 years working in community mental health before moving into private practice full time. I work with a broad range of presenting problems — talking things over during a no-cost initial consultation can help us find out if we're a good fit to work together.
Therapeutic goals are based on your insight and hopes for change. The process of achieving those goals is collaborative and happens through the therapeutic relationship and conversation. I aim to support you with calm, curiosity, and compassionate honesty as we work together.
