I am passionate about working with people, sharing in their stories, offering compassion, and providing guidance as able. In my counseling approach, I aim to present a personal and supportive therapeutic relationship, reinforced by strong and safe boundaries. You can expect a space that is distinctly warm, respectful, and deeply relational. I believe all individuals are full of the potential for self-actualization. With compassion and tenderness, I seek to be direct when calling out the best in individuals. I hope to help you obtain full responsibility for your health and well-being.
I take a holistic approach to therapy. This means I not only consider your emotional and intellectual needs, but your physical, spiritual, relational, and environmental necessities as well. My therapeutic philosophy is most influenced by Relational, Existential, and Attachment theories. However, I incorporate evidence-based approaches to our work as needed.
I received my MA in Counseling Psychology in 2012. Since 2013, I have worked as a Clinician with Compass Health, providing counseling to men, women, and couples. In 2018 I took the position of Clinical Supervisor, enabling me to supervise other counselors in this field. I also work with adults and older adolescents in my private practice, Veritas Counseling.
