I routinely help people from a variety of ages, backgrounds, and health conditions learn to manage insomnia and related sleep disorders. If you are concerned about your sleep or interested in reducing use of medications for sleep, there is a very good chance I will be able to help you! I am also a certified instructor in the Empowered Relief chronic pain management program as well as a certified practitioner in Pain Reprocessing Therapy. Using these approaches, I help patients learn to minimize the impact chronic pain has on their lives and improve their experience of chronic pain.
I specialize in the treatment of insomnia with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), a highly effective, targeted treatment for insomnia. Treatment involves changing thought and behavioral patterns that may contribute to poor sleep. A typical course of treatment last 6-7 weeks. I regularly accept new patients as patients sleep better quickly!
