As the only Deaf member in a family moving to the United States, I went on a long journey through self-discovery. Through firsthand experience, I faced challenges with communication and isolation while discovering my own identity as a Deaf person. This is how I learned to become a strong advocate for minorities.
I'm a licensed clinical social worker with 10+ years of experience working with deaf/hard-of-hearing families affected by Child Protection Services, with the majority of them being in underserved communities. Additionally, I offer individual and family counseling where we can explore the dynamics of your personal relationships.
