Waitlist only. I hope to establish a compassionate place for you to come and discuss life challenges, obstacles and impacts. Often, impacts from traumas and other stressful events can leave us feeling stuck. We feel stuck as we experience flashbacks, nightmares, overwhelming emotions, anxiety and depression. We know the person we want to be, but we just can't seem to get there. I have a passion for helping others to understand how their life experiences have impacted them and how to move forward from these experiences utilizing research-based interventions so that they can achieve their goals.
I am fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) therapist. EMDR proposes that addressing negative life experiences that can cause or exacerbate symptoms of anxiety, depression and PTSD we can work towards healing. Along with EMDR, I utilize other research-based theories of therapy to tailor my approach to you your needs.
I have worked with clients in a variety of areas including acute traumatic stress symptoms, PTSD, complex PTSD, domestic violence, anxiety and depression, etc. I am so excited about the prospect of working with you.
