As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, specializing in teen, couples, and family counseling, I help clients break through the psychological barriers and systemic issues that help them feel comfortable with themselves and with others, while using evidenced based theories and modalities to strengthen their attachment!
Specializing in CBT, DBT, trauma- focused interventions, family systems, and Gottman therapy my goal is for the clients to be at ease with confronting their mental health challenges while cultivating healthy relationships through the support of therapy! Kyla also uses her skills to help individuals and adults gain greater awareness of themselves and others!
Kyla is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Supervisory Designation and a The Ohio State University graduate with a Master’s degree in Social Work. Since finishing her masters degree in 2019, she has worked in the outpatient and hospital setting working with and assessing clients with anxiety, depression, trauma, body image, and relationship issues.

Groups
8-Week Teen DBT Group
Join us at The Marriage and Family Institute for an 8-week DBT teen group. This group will meet weekly each Monday evening for 90 minutes to reflect and learn skills to regulate emotions. Runs from 7:00pm-8:30pm Weekly on Mondays 855 S. Wall St. Columbus Ohio, 43206. Ages 13-16. All genders are welcome. Screening-30 min screening with Parent/teen, risk assessment necessary if not active client. $50 per group.
