I use evidence-based strategies as well as a person-centered approach to individualize your needs, abilities and means to achieve your goals; BUT experience has taught me that a practitioner's informed intuitive sense is crucial for you to benefit from counseling. Therapy is a balance of where things are, where they could be and how to get where we want. This formula is not the same for everyone.

She received her master's degree in mental health counseling at Walden University. She has worked in residential, inpatient and outpatient care with adults in individual and group counseling settings.

I have over 16 years in practice with experience treating general mental health issues, substance abuse, co-dependency, trauma and grief. I work from a solution-focused, person-centered approach and address not only the individual in therapy, but their family unit or family of choice.
