I welcome people who want to improve their relationship with others close to them. This includes partners, parents, siblings, friends, and others we see often. Once one relationship is improved, this will affect the quality of relationships with others.

Starting therapy can feel like a lot, especially when you’ve been trying to handle everything on your own. Most people come to me wanting a space to just breathe, talk things out, and feel understood. No pressure, no judgment. My job is to listen, support, and help you make sense of what’s been weighing you down. We take it one conversation at a time, finding tools that actually help and creating a little more calm, clarity, and hope along the way.

I love my job. I love getting to know people from all walks of life and at all stages. I enjoy hearing their stories and encouraging them to reach their goals. I gain great fulfillment from assisting loved ones to better communicate and understand one another. I believe that human beings naturally gravitate towards health when they feel safe, supported, and nurtured. I feel grateful and privileged to have the opportunity to witness metamorphosis in real time as my clients blossom into the people they are destined to be.

Are you ready for real, lasting change—not just temporary relief? My approach to therapy goes beyond surface-level coping skills to help you create deep transformation, what we call second-order change. This means we don’t just work to stop the symptoms—you’ll gain the insight, emotional awareness, and new patterns needed to truly heal and grow. I work with children, teens, adults, and couples who are struggling with trauma, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. Together, we’ll explore not only what’s happening now, but also the root causes that keep old cycles repeating. Let's move beyond “talking".

My specialties—LGBTQ+ care, PTSD, and Family Therapy—allow me to support clients with a holistic, trauma-informed, and deeply affirming approach. Each of these areas is unique, but they often overlap in ways that shape how a person experiences relationships, identity, and emotional safety. My goal is to meet clients where they are and help them move forward with clarity, confidence, and compassion.

Finding the right therapist is extremely important. The strength of client-therapist bond privides the positive and accepting atmosphere in which issues of mind/spirit/body may be addressed. By exploring and addressing the roots of current problems, resolution and healing can be manifested in the client's life. My focus for each client is to maximize their potential. I take a conversational-collaborative and eclectic approach as I work with clients with various issues. My clients set goals and leave therapy with the skills they need. Sessions usually occur weekly in an effort to maintain a constructive intensity toward self-awareness and restoration.

Sometimes we can feel stress and lost with relationships, our families, and ourselves. We all need help. Someone to listen to up. You might wish you could improve your sex life in your romantic relationships, or change your family and relationships interactions. Maybe you want to live a calm and peaceful life and overcome past traumas that don't let you move on. Replaying your history over and over, wishing things were different. It might be the way you think and treat yourself that brought you here. Maybe you want to discover more about yourself and never knew how.

I often support clients who are managing anxiety, depression, self-harming urges, or distress rooted in past abuse or attachment wounds.
Life changes, even the ones we expect, can shake up everything we thought we understood about ourselves and our relationships. Maybe you’re dealing with the fallout of a breakup or divorce, struggling to connect with your child, or trying to support a loved one through anxiety or trauma. Or maybe you’re the one carrying pain that’s hard to put into words. Whatever brings you to therapy, know this: you’re not too much, and you’re not alone.

I think I can help clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, stress-related issues, and trauma work. I am growing and learning just like those who are working with me. I typically use CBT, DBT, and ART as my theories for counseling.

Domestic Abuse Therapists

What are the most effective ways to recover from domestic abuse?

Leaving an abusive relationship requires tremendous courage, so survivors in treatment should recognize that they have already completed the most important step. Still, the trauma of physical or emotional abuse can be difficult to process and overcome. Therapy can help survivors process trauma, grief, and difficult emotions, treat relevant mental health symptoms, and create a new framework for boundaries and relationships in the future. For some, support groups can also be an invaluable outlet for healing.

When should an individual seek help for domestic abuse?

Victims of intimate partner violence should seek help immediately. It can take substantial time, planning, energy, and courage to leave an abusive relationship, but starting the process—by seeking therapy, calling the domestic violence hotline, or simply confiding in a loved one—will help them get there. Those who have left abusive relationships but haven’t sought treatment can also greatly benefit from therapy to process and heal from the experience.

What are the consequences of staying in an abusive relationship?

Remaining in an abusive relationship has serious repercussions. In addition to the ongoing threat of physical danger and emotional abuse, research shows that intimate partner violence is associated with a range of mental health disorders including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and substance abuse. Therefore it’s important for individuals in an abusive relationship to seek help as soon as possible.

How can you get domestic abuse treatment for someone else?

It can be very complicated to identify and leave an abusive relationship; barriers include the threat of violence, financial instability, and family pressures. Those concerned about a loved one in an abusive relationship should talk to them about the situation, provide them with resources such as the domestic violence hotline, and introduce the idea of seeing a therapist due to their concern for the person’s safety and well-being.
