After 35 years in the behavioral health field, I have been privileged to witness healing at its deepest level. My ideal client would be motivated, perhaps has tried other therapy styles they did not find helpful, and are ready for a new approach, addressing core issues and beliefs. I specialize in trauma and PTSD, having utilized EMDR therapy since 2013. I am a Certified Master EMDR therapist, an Approved Consultant and past trainer through EMDR International Association (EMDRIA). I also treat anxiety, depression, addictions, codependency, and most general mental health concerns.

There is no such thing as an ideal client. That is too boring. The way I do therapy is relaxed. I am not your average therapist, and I am not going to be like, "How does that make you feel?" but I am going to say, "What up! How are we doing today?" I never stop learning, and when you have me as a therapist, you will see that you will fall back in love with learning. Overall, I am just honored you allowed me to help you! Also, the best way to reach me is to Email over calling due to normally being in session, and I want to respond to you as quickly as possible!

I work with individuals and families navigating crisis, relationship strain, addiction recovery, and major life transitions. My path into counseling grew from years of helping people through some of life’s most difficult moments—emotional pain, family conflict, and feeling stuck in patterns that no longer work. Those experiences shaped my belief that people can change when they learn to understand and regulate their emotions. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), I help clients build practical skills, strengthen relationships, moving forward with greater clarity and stability.
