I believe that we all have needs that drive our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The need to connect, to be seen, to be heard, to succeed, to feel alive... Sometimes we are successful in getting our needs met, sometimes we are not. Often, we think there is only one way to be. We see and interpret our experiences with the patterns we establish in our early years. These ways of interacting in the world aren't always as effective or helpful as they may have been when we were young. Fortunately, we can change.

The primary focus of my practice is working with adolescents, adults, and couples. I have demonstrated success in working with individuals, couples and families. I will work with you to make all the positive changes you aspire for yourself, relationship, and family. I concentrate on finding solutions, identifying strengths, and helping clients get through the emotional barriers that keep them from moving forward. I believe a good therapeutic experience is creating a strong rapport which can be accomplished and made easier by my professional experience, education, and personal life experiences that make me a more caring and effective therapist.

I have many years of experience working with early childhood trauma and severe, persistent mental illness, varying from ages of 5 years to 70+. My goal is to empower and advocate for positive change within you, as the individual, and the system as a whole. The place that we will create together is a safe and judgement free space. I work through an Existential foundation, to help those I work with seek meaning and purpose, with skills built from experience with Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy, all within the context of a trauma-informed approach.
