You’ve been holding it together, but lately it feels like life is moving faster than you can keep up. Between work, relationships, and constant change, you’re running on empty. You don’t have to keep pushing through alone—therapy can help you slow down, reset, and find direction again. Life is full of changes—a new job, becoming a parent, or facing unexpected challenges like loss or illness.. If you are tired of feeling like you’re constantly playing catch-up in a world that moves at lightning speed, you’re not alone. Change can be exhilarating, but it can also leave us feeling a bit adrift.

You’re exhausted from holding everything together—managing work, family, and emotions that never seem to quiet down. Maybe anxiety keeps you overthinking every decision or past experiences still shape how you see yourself. You want to feel steady again, to actually enjoy life instead of just getting through it. Therapy with me is a space to unpack the chaos, find clarity, and finally start feeling like yourself again.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 15 years of experience working with a diverse range of clients. I use Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients cope with a myriad of things, including chronic issues, as they both teach coping skills and aid in adapting to situations that are immutable. ACT helps clients learn how to cope with difficult emotions: once a client is able to process the idea that thoughts and feelings are affected by the events they experience, the people they meet and the environment they live in, they are better able to learn how to manage emotions.

Healing is a messy process-- it takes courage and grit, it requires internal resources and consistent support, it forces us to go backward before we can even think of moving forward in ways that would make us feel proud. Despite the difficulty, you know that what you need is not a band-aid. You need something more thorough. Something that will help you to not only deal with the pain of the things that have already happened, the things that have been done to you and the shame around choices you may have made, but you need to know that in the future you won't have to continue feeling this way as new choices and challenges emerge.

I recognized the importance of being a listening heart. We experience so much in life that it can crush our souls, infect our minds, and bruise our spirits. Jobs can become toxic and hostile, relationships get complicated, and children become challenging. For women, there is the task of getting older and menopause. I am here. At The Beautiful Soul Asylum, I offer a refuge with a true holistic focus on mental health, honoring the mind, body, and spirit. For some, this may include religiosity and spirituality, which aid in healing and the restoration of wholeness.

The relationships you have can greatly impact your quality of life. It's common for people to say "relationships are hard work" and "relationships require compromise". However, there's not enough conversation on how to navigate those hardships or how to decide when to compromise. I can guide you as you work through figuring out what feels authentic for you through the use of attachment based, experiential therapies. If you are in a troubled relationship, going through a transition, feeling depressed, or in need of someone to talk to, we're here to help.

I work with individuals and families navigating crisis, relationship strain, addiction recovery, and major life transitions. My path into counseling grew from years of helping people through some of life’s most difficult moments—emotional pain, family conflict, and feeling stuck in patterns that no longer work. Those experiences shaped my belief that people can change when they learn to understand and regulate their emotions. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), I help clients build practical skills, strengthen relationships, moving forward with greater clarity and stability.
