My clients are high responsibility individuals, couples, or family business members, showing up for others while feeling stretched thin, exhausted by the constant facade needed for many of their professional interactions, or stuck in patterns they can’t name.
I offer structured, insight driven therapy for individuals, couples, and families. Together, we explore relational patterns, increase emotional awareness, reconnect with self, strengthen communication, and develop practical strategies for healthier boundaries, deeper connection, and more intentional, authentic living.

For many people the expression "Life is lifing!" resonates now more than ever. It's easy to find yourself doing too much, saying "yes" when you need to say "no", feeling overwhelmed, and taking care of everything except yourself. I work with professionals seeking support with anxiety, grief/loss, life transitions and stressors. Your busy schedule should not be a barrier to accessing therapeutic intervention. I offer flexible scheduling 7 days/week via telehealth!

I specialize in working with women, couples, and young adults, repairing unhealthy relational dynamics and training mindful connection to the present moment.
All humans are unique, as are all clients. While there is no way to describe the “ideal” client, I work best with those individuals who place a high value on authenticity, transparency, and honesty. Those three factors are well suited for clients who are goal-driven and aspire true and lasting change. Some areas of rewarding experience have included work with non-traditional family structures, women’s health and wellness, intergenerational trauma healing, adoption and its impact for all involved, and healthy relationship development- to name a few. I assist humans in realizing, trusting, and believing in their truest potential.

I became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist because it was an approach that was strength based and free from the blame that in some way we are broken.
Our first session will begin with exploring and identifying what you want from therapy and how you will know when you have reached your goals. We will discuss the therapeutic process and what you can expect from me and what I will ask of you and then we will begin our work.

I will venture to guess and say that you are seeking hope and change in your life and naturally, you might feel frightened, so I want to highlight how much courage it takes to start this process of seeking a trusted partner in this journey of discovery, learning and growth.
Welcome to PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING SERVICES. Human beings often struggle with unpleasant thoughts, feelings and sensations that can seem almost unbearable and impact our behaviors and relationships. When we are consumed with emotional pain and suffering, it becomes a challenge to attend to other important parts of our life. This may be an important time for you where you realize that your life has shrunk significantly and you would like to create a life 'worth living' for yourself again.

I have clinical experience working with diverse populations in school, behavioral health, and university clinic settings and specialize in working with couples, families, and teens.
Therapy can be intimidating, so I commend you for taking these steps to care for yourself and your relationships. Life ebbs and flows and there is no manual on how to get through challenging, new, or traumatic experiences. I believe that people are always doing the best they can, and I am here to support and gently challenge you to move through life in ways that feel the most in-tune and aligned with how you want to grow. I would be honored to help you deepen understanding and connection with those who bring the most meaning to your lives.

We connect with individuals, couples, and teenagers who are looking for guidance and hope in their particular season of life.
North Springs approaches this process from a Christian perspective, and we value each person holistically — as a physical, spiritual, emotional and intellectual being. Although we hold a Christian perspective, it is not necessary that those seeking services embrace the same principles.

Marriage Counseling Therapists
How does marriage counseling work?
Marriage counseling works by teaching couples concrete skills to communicate with one another and solve disagreements in healthy ways. A trained mental health professional works with both members of a couple to explore difficulties the couple may be having and helps them develop skills to address these matters. Couples who don’t have any difficulties but want to prepare for marriage may develop skills for the future.

How long does marriage counseling typically last?
Marriage counseling is a short-term form of therapy; the process may last between four and eight sessions. Other forms of relationship guidance from mental health professionals, such as couples therapy, are longer lasting, may focus on the past rather than just the present, and are tailored to the individual couple and their emotions, history, and patterns in the relationship. Couples therapy often lasts for 12 weeks or longer.

Is marriage counseling effective?
Marriage counseling helps many couples develop relationship skills that may not have been acquired or tested in a relationship; partners may be better able to communicate and address conflict following counseling. However, there are many different forms of marriage counseling, and this form of counseling does not have as strong an evidence base as other modalities such as couples therapy.

Is marriage counseling effective if only one partner wants to go?
Yes, marriage counseling can still be effective if one partner convinces the other to engage in the process. Of course, whether counseling is effective depends on the couple’s commitment to work on their relationship; however, the short-term, skills-based nature of marriage counseling makes it a relatively easy “ask” of a partner, and the hesitant individual may see its value once counseling begins.
