My experience includes working with those who have faced challenges with PTSD, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, suicidal ideation/self-harm,
anger management
, and more.
Life is incredibly difficult at times, and perhaps you have found yourself in a season of shame, defeat, unrest, rage, anxiety, or all of the above and then some. There is a reason that these states of being become a normal mode of operation, but it doesn't mean that healing, growth, and change are not possible.

If any uncomfortable emotions such as feelings of inadequacy, fears,
anger
, guilt, and stress are coming from inaccurate perceptions, I use effective hypnosis techniques to re-frame and neutralize them.
I use modern reliable and effective hypnosis techniques for all of my clients. Using cutting edge hypnosis techniques, I help find the source of the issue and, by using insights to help re-frame it, we are able to help neutralize the emotions associated with it. This helps my clients to live in freedom of the issues that have been holding them back or prevented them from living a fulfilling life.

My counseling focus is Marriage and Relationship counseling as well as depression and anxiety. I believe our core problems tend to stem from our desire to be validated and loved by others. When we do not feel worthy, "good enough" or loved we engage in self-protective behaviors (fight or flee), pain comes to the surface and we experience hurt,
anger
, anxiety and other destructive emotions.

Let me give you the tools that I have been given so that every angst,
anger
, breakup or burden doesn't result in you falling to your emotional bottom.
The idea for New Creation Counseling started years ago as I embarked on my life reclamation. Through my journey a wholehearted desire grew to help those who are hurting and I wanted to provide them with a safe place to heal. What have you been running from and what have you been using to avoid coping with your reality? It would be a privilege to share in your process of working through addiction, relationship discord, depression, anxiety, life transition,
anger
, stress and any other issues you may be facing. We are not built to face these burdens alone, so I invite you to invest in yourself and start growing forward.

Individuals and couples move from triggered reaction to empowered choosing of responses, they develop skills to regulate emotions, self confront, decrease anxiety and
anger
, along with increasing connection and intimacy.
Keeping secrets and hiding parts of the self can be painful, overwhelming, create confusion and leave us feeling alone and anxious about the future. Together we explore new perspectives, and develop patterns of living that better serve deeper connection, intimacy and fulfilling interactions with themselves and those closest to them.

While serving any adults and adolescents, my practice is focused on men who struggle with
anger
and who seek to better understand their emotions, adults who have had traumatic experiences, couples who seek to enrich their relationships through connection and healthy communication, and high school/college students navigating life transitions.
It is the case that life is rarely as we expect it to be and may seem more difficult and confusing than we can bear alone. You may expend a tremendous amount of energy holding it together or trying to maintain the appearance of perfection leaving you feeling depleted and unfulfilled. My hope is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you to help sort out your emotions, enhance your relationships, understand yourself, achieve goals, and facilitate healing.

anger management
, ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, PTSD, mood disorders, and adjustment disorders.
People come to therapy because they want to feel better. It might be relationship problems or anxiety/depression, but whatever the reason, life has become uncomfortable or painful. Most people want more understanding of themselves and their situation. That being said, change is what we all seek in therapy. Making your life work better is the goal. I focus on altering self-defeating ways, gaining perspective, and increasing insight that leads to change. The result is an improved quality of life.

How long does therapy take for anger management?
Treatment duration depends on the person’s specific challenges and circumstances. There are treatments for anger problems that are shorter and more goal-oriented, like cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which can last weeks to months. Others, like dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) may last between six months and a year, while a more intensive treatment, like psychodynamic therapy, is open-ended, and clients may see their therapist for a year or longer.
How do you know if you need therapy for anger management?
Everyone gets mad from time to time. But when angry outbursts become frequent and cause damage to relationships, whether at home or in the office, it may be a good time to look into therapy. A therapist can assess where a client’s anger may be coming from, suggest strategies for averting angry outbursts, and help a client create a plan to become a calmer version of themselves.
Is there medication for anger management?
Medications do exist that help people mitigate the feeling of anger, but these are reserved for people with anger-related psychiatric disorders, such as intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or in some cases borderline personality disorder. In these cases, antidepressant medications may be prescribed to help with the client’s symptoms. In most cases of anger management, however, talk therapy is the recommended treatment, along with lifestyle changes where relevant.
What’s the best way to encourage someone to seek help for anger issues?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either themselves or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
