I believe there resides, in each of us, the need to be fully seen, fully heard, and fully loved. Developing our highest self requires we be present, mindful, and authentic—it means choosing to live life on purpose and with intention. Why is it so difficult to get there, and harder still to sustain? Many reasons: trauma, difficult families, messy relationships, ill-fitting careers, illness, distorted perceptions, bad habits, financial worries, toxic mindsets, transitions, aging—in other words, LIFE. Life happens. The result is a process that is often uncomfortable and leaves us physically and emotionally changed and worn.
