Accepting New Clients! (Usually waitlist) I am a licensed clinical counselor. My counseling approach is warm and empathetic with humor mixed in to help my clients feel safe, supported, and understood. I specialize in adults and adolescents with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma related concerns and gender therapy (I am EMDR trained) . I have been an educator for 27 years and specialize in working with tweens and teens who are having difficulty in school and with relationships. I prefer to work with adolescents and adults.
I enjoy and have a tremendous amount of training working with teens and adults with anxiety and depression. I also work with many LGBTQ+ clients that need a safe, affirming place to work on their journey to become their true authentic self. I have training and follow the WPATH standards of care of writing letters for those clients wishing to transition.
I recently retired from being an assistant principal at a High School in Northern Kentucky. I have 30 years experience working with adolescents and families in the education setting and this was my passion to pursue clinical counseling.
