With a focus on mental health and/or addictions, Kurtis' main approach to therapy is to build a rapport that can balance through barriers to fulfilling our full potential. Kurtis' approach is always client centered, molding to the needs and goals of clients. Using a variety of approaches, treatment will be about building a foundation of success, and goals short and long term are identified. Kurtis works with all clients who are interested in bettering themselves and the environment around them.
Kurtis is conversational in most scenarios; this is about being comfortable to be ourselves in this environment. Being authentically ourselves is the pillar to identifying our next best steps. Working with Kurtis should not feel like a heavy burden, even when topics may be heavier.
As an individual who struggled in many environments growing up, helping others achieve their maximum self by using my clinical education, as well as knowledge of these systems. Clients should be willing to set their own goals. My goal is to be an advisor, but not create or define where an individual person should go.
