My style is collaborative, interactive, and engaging. I am very comfortable working with a variety of individuals, adults, seniors, teens and children. We can increase your insight, improve communication, uncover barriers, and problem solve to promote growth and change. My approach to therapy is client centered: clients are the experts on their lives and determine the direction and depth of therapy. Through a strengths-based and solutions-focused lens, I draw on multiple treatment modalities (CBT, EMDR for trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and play therapy for children) to guide clients in accomplishing their goals.
Clients have described me as warm, empathetic, and a calming presence, but also straightforward and honest. With you, I will create a unique plan to address the concerns you have. My work focuses on having you feel heard and understood, teaching new coping skills, offering helpful honest feedback and curating a life that is meaningful to you.
