I believe in trying differently, rather than harder. Parenting children who are neurodivergent (ADHD, FASD, Autism, Developmental Trauma) can be overwhelming, especially if a parent is too! Children can struggle with healthy attachment, viewing every person and situation through a "survival' lens of distrust, often engaging in undesirable behavior to try to establish feeling in control, safe, and connected. They may struggle with processing and verbalizing or emotional regulation. Parents may struggle with regulation and connection in the face of challenging behavior. We all do well when we have the necessary skills to do so!

Although life may feel chaotic at times, we are in control of the solution and ultimate happiness we seek. It takes courage to face a fear or a risk in life, but here you are! Where there is healing, harmony can soon follow. Clients are welcome to be their most authentic selves. Therapeutic input during trying times of adversity offers space that invites vulnerability, transparency, and help us understand the circumstances we face. Whether you are battling relationship conflict, communication issues, infidelity, relational trauma, or sexual issues-it doesn’t matter. I want to sit in this space with you free from judgment.

I am a first-generation Lao American born and raised in Arkansas. I grew up in a humble environment where my father often reminded me of the hard work required to create a different life. As a descendant of refugees, I understand the many challenges that come with creating upward mobility and have overcome my fair share of obstacles.

Reaching out for help is never easy and change can be difficult and painful. In life, we must be strong and endure life’s challenges. But, we do not have to endure it alone.

I specialize in working with young children and their families. I use age-appropriate interventions to assist children in working towards resolution of the emotional distress that drives problem behaviors. I work closely with parents to support them in learning to reconnect with their children on an emotional level. I work with autistic children and adults who struggle with anxiety and depression. I use a person-centered (and child-centered) philosophy of therapy. I have expertise in working with trauma survivors, especially relational trauma such as sexual abuse and abandonment issues.
