You may have difficulty calming down or relaxing and find yourselves consumed by memories from childhood. You desire a life where you’re not consumed by the mistakes of your parents. You may even feel like you just need a little guidance to get your life back on track. As a therapist, I’m no different from the clients I see. Like everyone else, I’m human. I’ve been through both wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help.

After 20 plus years working in the mental health and substance use treatment fields I still enjoy watching patients grow and change in beautiful and interesting ways as we collaboratively work to develop copings skills and strategies to free them from the shackles that once bound them.

I specialize in Anxiety, Autism, Attention Deficit, Mood Disorders, and Motivation in adults and children. My therapy approach was developed through years of academic and medical research focusing on motivation, attention, and anxiety. I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master's degree in social welfare in 2011. I have held research and clinical positions at the University of Colorado, Duke University, Comcare and KU Medical Center. I made the move to private practice in 2016.

I'm a Licensed Psychologist specializing in the treatment of children and families with an extensive background in child, adolescent and adult behavioral therapy and diagnosis. I believe the road to change is entirely personal; everyone travels their own path, at their own pace. Because despite similarities in experience, every individual has challenges unique to them. Together, within an empowering environment, we can find solutions to alter behaviors, explore meaning, improve moods and build relationships.

Sandie is a licensed therapist with over 10 years of experience in providing in-person and teletherapy to adults in multiple states. She is trained in treating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, life transitions, and women’s issues. She also has certifications in perinatal disorders, trauma-informed cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT).

I'm comfortable treating Anger Management, Anxiety, Career Issues, Stress Management, Sleep Issues, Grief, Loss, Family Issues, Friend Issues, PTSD. My approach is eclectic, but is based in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Steve’s practice focus is working with men and couples. Addressed issues include mood disorders, unhealthy behaviors, histories of abuse and neglect, grief, trauma, and pornography. Steve also works with couples to preserve and strengthen their relationship. Steve and his wife Julie are Certified premarital preparation facilitators. Both are Certified Enneagram Coaches. Julie is a Certified Life Coach who is available to work with Steve in couples work. Julie, who is a former fitness instructor, and Steve utilize a whole person health perspective.
