From a leader in church youth groups to a case manager and street outreach worker for runaway and homeless youth, I have worked with adolescents in a variety of settings since 2006. As a therapist, I have been doing individual and family counseling with adolescents since 2015. I also have experience doing individual therapy with adults and desire to help people become what God has created them to be.

I love making therapy a positive experience that leaves clients feeling happy and excited to come back the next week. My practice is focused on therapy with kids, teens, adults, and families. I use play therapy, Theraplay(tm), and Whole Brain Child interventions to reach kids and teens. I enjoy working with adults on determining what career path to take, how to adjust to college/full time employment, mid-life career issues, and stress management/mindfulness skills. My specialty is working with patients with relationship concerns and adjustment to life circumstances. I enjoy working with young adults and couples and am a certifed sex therapist through the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists. I have experience working with sexual dysfunctions and interpersonal concerns. I really enjoy working together with patients to analyze problems and am active in providing solutions to problems. Secondarily, I enjoy working with adults and children, evaluating educational and emotional concerns. I have had over 20 years of clinical experience.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Kansas and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State who works from a CBT perspective but does utilize a collaborative style. My approach is to work with you and help you realize your strengths and to find healthy ways to cope with difficult situations in your life. I work with adolescents(13-18), adults and geriatric on a variety of mental health concerns, however, I specialize in helping individuals with mood disorders and sexual addiction/dysfunction.

Jeff has been providing therapy for boys and men since 1999. He is licensed in Missouri, Kansas, and Alaska and specializes in men’s issues, working with males age 12 and up including teenagers, young adults, active duty military and veterans. His approach is person-centered and combines CBT, EMDR, ERP, Mindfulness, and other techniques designed to enhance empowerment and a sense of self-worth.
