Shine is a group therapy practice. We are passionate about walking alongside hurting people as they courageously face life's challenges and heal emotional wounds. Attending to mind, body and spirit are essential to healing, applying the process of holistic approaches in the therapy journey. I have many modalities to utilize in order to achieve your goals, but most importantly I strive to generate a positive environment for you as the client to feel confident in working on your struggles and gain new perspectives in bettering your life.

I believe in having hope and moving forward to live a fulfilling life. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master of Science Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Emporia State University. I have 17 years experience in the child welfare system with 10 years of that as a therapist in residential, outpatient, and school settings.

To be a companion alongside someone seeking support or help is a humbling task. I graduated with my Masters in Counseling in 2017 and have since been dedicated to helping individuals heal from life's challenges and reach their full potential. I offer a compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to therapy, specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. I believe in treating the whole person. I specializing in working with children ages 5-18, but have worked with adults from all walks of life. I have 12 years in mental health experience, and specialize in working with those who struggle with symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyper Activity Disorder (ADHD), Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
