Krysten is a certified trauma professional who specializes in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, phobias, depression, PTSD and other trauma related disorders. She takes an integrative, mind-body approach to healing, blending evidence-based therapies such as CBT and DBT with yoga therapy and somatic practices. If yoga is not your thing, no problem.We can utilize other somatic methods. Krysten focuses on helping clients regulate their nervous systems, develop practical coping skills, and rebuild a sense of safety, confidence, and connection in their daily lives.
Due to Krysten's own lived experiences with trauma she has a deep sense of empathy and creates a supportive non judgmental space where clients feel seen and heard. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her many animals, volunteering as a crisis counselor, practicing yoga and meditation, and spending time with her family.
Krysten believes therapy is a collaborative journey and meets clients where they are, honoring their strengths while gently guiding them toward meaningful and sustainable change. Supervised by Suisan Walker, LCSW-S.
