I am Kristyn Martinez, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over 6 years of professional experience. I specialize in working with adults who are focused on identifying, healing, and learning to cope with anxiety, depression, OCD, life stressors, work-life balance, body image concerns, and single motherhood. I also help clients navigate bipolar disorder, psychosis, dissociative disorders, and mood disorders. As a military spouse, I understand firsthand the stressors that life can bring.
I completed my Master's in Clinical Counseling at the University of Webster Myrtle Beach. I use a variety of methods to tailor treatment to each client, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), compassion-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
