With over 4 years of experience in the field, I have assisted clients in building skills to effectively cope with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and relationship or family conflict. I have enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and their families, as well as young adults. I promote self-empowerment for my clients as well as self-compassion. I believe my empathetic nature and genuine desire to help others are evident in my counseling approach. I use a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach in my work, as well as a Solution Focused model. To break down this therapy jargon... I care a lot about how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact one another.
