Over the last 14 years, I have had the opportunity to work with youth, adults, and families to address issues related to depression, anxiety, ineffective parenting, addiction, personality disorders, relationship issues, family conflict, self-harm behaviors, and other life stressors. I also have extensive experience treating complex trauma and dedicated the last several years to working with survivors of sexual violence of all ages and backgrounds. I am passionate about helping clients heal from traumatic experiences as well as cultivating healthy and fulfilling relationships.
Although every person’s journey is different, clients often achieve significant progress by going beyond symptom management and addressing the root causes of dysfunction. As such, my approach to therapy incorporates a wide range of evidenced-based interventions including mind-body strategies to meet the needs of each client.
I genuinely believe that people do the best they can with what they have in the moment and that we all yearn for a sense of safety and connection. I therefore strive to offer a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients can reflect, learn, and work towards reaching their ultimate potential.
