Our experiences shape how we respond to and view everything and everyone that we encounter in life. I love helping people gain new perspectives, learn how to alter their thought patterns in order to experience more pleasant emotions, and learn to cope with negative emotions and life stressors. I began helping people with these issues as a family intervention specialist and case manager in 2005 and have been a professional counselor since 2013. I opened McLaughlin Counseling in 2018.
I offer trauma-informed care and utilize techniques from various treatment models depending on the needs of each individual client.
I believe that one of my greatest purposes is to help people who are hurting or simply going through a tough time in their lives.
