About
Providing counseling services in the area of psychology, I am trained to diagnose & treat concerns, ranging from stress to relational issues, mood disorders & behavioral challenges. I have more than 15 years expertise working with children, adolescents & young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, & panic attacks, as well as life stresses. I also specialize in addressing a variety of family issues such as women's multiple roles, parenting & family problems, physical health concerns, how to find time for one's social/emotional needs, & many more. How can you be there for others if you haven't learned to be there for yourself?
As your therapist, I will be there to respectfully & caringly provide a safe place for you to talk things out, relieve stress, take in comforting, & learn new strategies. I will walk beside you on this journey, guiding, supporting & challenging you toward deeper self integration to reach your desired goals.

"Talk Time for Teens"
Teenage years can be extremely challenging for both child & parent. While it is a time of testing limits and seeking autonomy, a teen must still feel the love & containment provided by Mom/Dad. We will discuss parent/teen conflicts, and process the feelings associated with this period of seperation and individuation. Occasionally, parents will be asked for optional participation in seperate parenting support sessions.
"Social Skills for Self Esteem"
When unprepared for adolescence, both school and social settings are likely to be very intimidating and overwhelming arenas. Social skills are scrutinized amongst peers and bullying can be debilitating for the self esteem of our precious youth. Together in group, we will learn & role-play many social skills. We will build healthy self-images, boost confidence, & address real-life scenarios for decreasing anxiety and avoiding eventual depression.
