Do you want to let go of your past trauma? Do you feel it impacting your life, even if it happened years ago? I work with children, adolescents, and adults to help them work through and resolve past experiences and present struggles that impact current functioning. The focus is NOT "What is wrong with you?" but rather "What happened to you?" You can work through the past, build resilience, and focus on creating the future you want.
I am trained in EMDR, play therapy, and somatic experiencing (Intermediate level 2). I am also internationally credentialed in Sandtray therapy. I use a combination of these tools to help individuals of all ages learn and master coping skills, manage depression and anxiety, recognize their body's trauma responses, and reprocess and resolve trauma.
Recovering from trauma is challenging. Learning to manage depression and anxiety is tough. I offer compassion, empathy, and even some humor to help you work through your difficulties and come out the other side strong and resilient.
