My experience includes hospital employment, university employment, consultation, and private practice.
I specialize in PTSD (combat, sexual trauma, motor vehicle accidents, and interpersonal violence) and have extensive training in evidence based psychotherapy for trauma. However, I have significant experience with a wide variety of clinical presentations, particularly those involving anxiety and mood disorders as well as complex presentations.
In our very busy world, it is to be expected that anxiety, depression, and relationship issues will be ever-present. Part of my style is to normalize these kinds of stressors and assist in problem-solving to bolster self-esteem, increase efficiency and functional ability, and improve an individual's overall quality of life.
