Hi! I am Kristy Peters, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and I earned a degree in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine at the University of Western States. I have several years of experience in the behavioral health, counseling and therapy field. I have been able to provide help and support for a multitude of people with a variety of issues and complicated situations, including trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, substance use and other emotional issues. My therapeutic approach includes CBT, MI, Solution Focused Therapy, as well other approaches that best fit the client.
I believe therapy is most effective working as a team towards reaching your goals and a healthy mindset. We are more than a disorder or illness. The eight dimensions of wellness include emotional, physical, occupational, intellectual, financial, social, environmental, and spiritual parts. The dimensions are interconnected, one dimension building on another.
I am currently working virtually. My fees are affordable. I accept cash, Zelle and credit card payments. I believe everyone should be treated with kindness, compassion, and respect, while also maintaining high ethical standards, confidentiality, honesty, and integrity.
