The choice to begin therapy is a significant decision and one that I do not take lightly. It is an honor for me to work with my clients in healing and growing through our therapeutic process. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Work from Baylor University and a Master of Science in Social Administration with a Clinical focus from Case Western Reserve University where I completed with Accelerated Advanced Standing. I have practiced in Ohio, New York, Virginia, and Illinois before settling in Georgia. I have enjoyed being a therapist for over 30 years.
I have a special interest and training in working with the family members and adult children of individuals struggling with addiction. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) as evidence-based treatment methods with my clients.
I am passionate about approaching the therapeutic dynamic as a collaboration and a partnership with my clients to help them live the life they want to live.
