Nautilus Counseling takes its name from the chambered ocean creature. A nautilus builds a new shell chamber for itself when the current one no longer works and is uncomfortable, allowing the nautilus to grow as it should. Discomfort inspires change and growth for the nautilus and for us too. Are you ready for change? If you are, I am excited to support you in making that change. Together, we will look at what in your life is creating discomfort for you, what is contributing to that feeling, and how to help you change and grow towards a place that feels right for you.
We grow and change as individuals as well as in our relationships. Sometimes couples, friends, and families need support during the transitions that occur naturally as we grow and to cope with the stressors that present challenges as we move through life. I work with individuals, intimate partners, and families, adults, young adults, and adolescents.
As a licensed marriage and family therapist, I will look at how you are shaped by your family and our culture and how this impacts the way you relate to others. I am sex-positive, open and affirming therapist. If your insurance is not listed here as one I accept, I will work with you using a sliding scale to find a fee that works for both of us.
