Hello. I'm Kristina Wiley, a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of West Virginia. I have been in practice as an LPC for over 20 years and I am compassionate about helping others find who they are and overcoming traumatic events in their life. As a metal health provider, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches. The most sought after approach to therapy is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); however, the therapy approach is dependent on your needs. The therapy approach in your therapy will be tailored to what you need and to what works best for your presenting issues.
I like to create a calm and relaxing environment for my clients. Working with me, you will feel safe and secure from a nonjudgmental approach.
I encourage client's to set goals in therapy that can be achieved in 3, 6, and 9 months. Along with setting goals, clients need to have a goal or reward for themselves when they reach their goal. As individuals we work better if we know there will be a positive outcome.
