Announcement icon I am providing sessions by phone and teletherapy and offer reduced fee if you are laid off due to COVID-19.
I specialize in working with adults and transitioning teens with autism spectrum differences. My approach focuses on your strengths and utilizes evidence-based interventions to address issues related to anxiety and depression, life transitions, family and relationship dynamics, self-advocacy, work/employment, comorbid mental health issues, healthy lifestyle, independent living, contact with law enforcement, and sexuality/dating. I work across the autism spectrum including working with high-functioning professionals and individuals exploring the possibility of having autism spectrum differences.
I will help you understand how aspects of ASD impact daily life and explore changes you may like to make to support quality of life and well-being. I have a high regard for all my clients and my view is that the human population has always been neurodiverse. I place value on skills and goals while also valuing self acceptance and self advocacy.
I have worked with people with autism spectrum differences for more than 10 years. I have additional training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, sexuality and ASD, LGBTQ, and suicide prevention.
